The Melody system offers a complementary series of HMI platforms that supplement the inherent functionality of the control system. Its console portfolio includes Symphony Plus S+ Operations and 800xA Operations (Process Portal (PPA)). Designed for improved operator effectiveness, these operator consoles provide intuitive, easy-to-use operation environments to facilitate process monitoring, control, fault mitigation, and optimization. Third party equipment and applications such as steam or gas turbine controls or balance of plant controls are integrated with Melody system operations via OPC, allowing the Melody operator workstation to be the “window” for the entire plant operation.
